Temat ekskluzji rodziny wielokrotnie poruszany i szeroko dyskutowany był w różnych publikacjach, a także podnoszony przez media. Niełatwo więc pisać o nim w sposób nowatorski, zresztą sam opis sytuacji niewiele wnosi – póki nie sięgnie się do niuansów tego zjawiska. Jedno jest pewne – ekskluzja staje się naczelnym motywem rozważań wielu instytucji zajmujących się pomocą ludziom wywodzącym się z różnych środowisk. Temat wydaje się nadal godny uwagi, ponieważ dynamika zmian społecznych nie wskazuje na
zmniejszenie problemu ekskluzji, a wręcz przeciwnie – wraz ze zmianami pojawiają się nowe obszary wykluczenia.
The author of the article discusses the problem of exclusion of many contemporary Polish families in various areas of social life. He claims that both the changing patterns and forms of family, and indigenous demographic problems have an influence on the phenomenon of exclusion. He emphasizes that the pathology within the particular families leads to regularities in their social functioning. Restriction on the ability to use commonly available goods and forms of collective life beyond the principles of morality and law is the result of that. Marginalization may take different forms and may affect many areas, such as the sphere of work (unemployment), consumption sphere, the sphere of education, culture and social and political ones. The author of the article also discusses the issue of efforts to promote social inclusion of disfunctional families.
